“I wake up in the morning and think about music. I go to bed at night and dream about it. We live it. You can’t stop it. That’s THE HINT, times four - times every single one of you. It’s been a kind and harsh road, a bittersweet journey, but there are no regrets along the way. I love that you listen to the things we create and come say hello when we’re in town. I hope you stay close to us deep into 2009. It’s a new album, a new beginning. I love waking up and thinking everything will be new again, like opening the window shades and seeing the ground covered in snow. We’re all in it together, even if the song begins on a lonely couch with a guitar - it still ends up in a sweaty room with our friends at a 102 decibels. We decided to call the new album “I AM THE HINT”, because we’ve realized that every person that has touched us has made us what we are today. The sum of all the good around us creates something so much bigger than we will ever be. It is this synergy that keeps us constantly looking inside ourselves for answers, makes us believe in who we are, makes it all seem real. I am THE HINT, you are THE HINT, we are THE HINT.”
The new album “I Am The Hint” is available now on iTunes and Smartpunk, produced with Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, Versa Emerge) and mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Metro Station). Look for a new tour in May sponsored by Ernie Ball and features in Substream Magazine and Smartpunk.com.
