A few years ago, Reik started making their way in the pop world in Mexico, Latin America, and the US, where they showed the public what “Reik” stands for: the prosodic form of defining a guitar strum or the phonetic form of referring to three talented and ambitious musicians.
Julio has an outgoing and sociable personality. A talker by nature, he is the most direct one in the trio. Jesus is more of a serene, dominant challenger. He likes to take control and is significantly focused. Bibi is the most quiet, analytical, and introverted member of the band.
The differences between them naturally lead to dissimilar interests regarding their preferred topics of conversation. Julio gets animated describing his settings and delightful pleasures. Jesus is passionate about discussions that entail his close circle of friends and his daily reflections. Bibi enjoys relating his perspective regarding music and life. Reik is Jesus on vocals, Julio on acoustic guitar and Bibi on the electric guitar. These three young individuals are filled with enthusiasm and talent, with a desire of reaching people with their music.
Julio Ramirez Eguía
Born December 21, 1987 in Mexicali, Baja California. He enjoys dining out with his friends, going to the movies, playing basketball and soccer, and winter sports. He is influenced by Keane, The Afters, Coldplay, The Beatles, and John Mayer.
Jesus Alberto Navarro Rosas
Also a native of Mexicali, he was born July 9, 1986. He’s a fan of parties and John Grisham novels. He is influenced by Robbie Williams, Justin Timberlake, The Black Eyed Peas, John Mayer and Keane.
Gilberto “Bibi” Marín
Born in Mexicali, Baja California, January 26, 1983. He started his college studies in Architecture at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. He enjoys dining out, discovering new restaurants, and traveling. He is influenced by Radiohead, Incubus, Brazilian Girls, Café Tacuba, Kinky, Zoé, and The Mars Volta.
