On June 2nd, Tooth and Nail veterans, EMERY, released their 4th full-length album, … In Shallow Seas We Sail.  This 13-track masterpiece was produced by Aaron Sprinkle (Demon Hunter, Anberlin, MXPX, Project 86) at Compound Recording Studios in Seattle, WA as well as at guitarist’s, Matt Carter’s Tigertown Studios, currently located in Maple Valley, WA.

Excited about the forthcoming album, drummer, Dave Powell, states “This record defines Emery. If you look up Emery in the dictionary, you will be instructed to listen to this record. I’m very excited to hear the feedback from our amazing fans.” Critics and fans are equally excited about Emery’s new album.  Critics are saying:

“Emery’s prowess at transitions emerges as their most exciting calling card, with the urgency augmented by keyboard-driven interludes, then imploded by anvil-heavy melodi-metal thuds”—Alternative Press

“… loads of intensity, honesty and energy all rolled up into one catchy tune. This is the most engaging and ambitious song I’ve heard from Emery. I’m really looking forward to the album after hearing this.”—Ryan Ogle of AMP Magazine

Along with Powell, Emery consists of Toby Morell (vocals/bass); Devin Shelton (vocals/bass); Matt Carter (guitar) and Josh Head (keys/vocals).  Be sure to head out to the local record store or online shop and pick up a copy!!!
